Welcome to our blog! I discovered the Tripawds site when I was searching for information to help my 15 month old Rottweiler Abby who joined the Tripawd community on 9/30/15.
She is still a wee young puppy and we don’t have a definitive diagnosis yet despite the fact that we had a biopsy on 8/6/15. The biopsy was negative, but the xRays have all of her vets suspecting osteosarcoma. Cocci was another possibility, but since we live in Washington, this fungal infection would be an anomaly.
We are keeping our paws crossed, but after 8 weeks of hobbling around and two more rounds of xRays it became clear that Abby’s leg was no longer meant to be a part of her. We move forward now, ready to embrace life on 3 paws!
